The Club at Cheshire Martial Arts Centre has established itself as one of the Countries best venues to practice this exciting style.

Our Chief Instructor Paul Graham (7th Dan), has built a reputation for producing top class students, some of who have competed at National, European and World level.

Shukokai was introduced into the U.K.in 1969 by sensei Kimura the senior instructor of Tani sensei, the founder of the style.

We are a member of the SKU whose Chief Instructor is Stan Knighton (8th Dan).

Shukokai is taught at the centre as an art form, a self defence system and sport for those who want the competitive aspect of this exiting martial art. We also place great emphasis on fitness training and conditioning.

KATA
		Form work develops a solid foundation for all techniques There are numerous katas in the Shukokai style, which use all the different techniques of the style Develops balance and co-ordination Improves breathing technique We also teach Bunkai, this is the practical application of each technique

COMPETITIONS
		Various members of the club are currently on the England Squad Some of our members are very active and successful on the National Circuit and at European level The Centre boast Champions at National Level Our members have been voted Warrington Sports personality of The Year on numerous occasions

	Private lessons allow you to focus and personalise your goals. Whether you want to train for self defence or if you want to shape/tone-up and get fit, personal training is for you. Learn one on one with an instructor or in a small group Allows you to train around your hectic schedule Learn special techniques under direct supervision Lessons can be made at your convenience and as often as you like Personal lessons can be with  any of our fully qualified instructors.
